What is private clinic management software?
It brings the administrative side of a clinic into one place: issuing invoices to clients, tracking who has paid and who still owes, and running the appointment diary. Instead of an invoice book, a spreadsheet and a paper diary, everything lives in one system that syncs across your devices.
Mediqaro was built specifically for independent doctors rather than for large practices or chains, so it covers exactly what a private doctor needs without the complexity of enterprise systems.
Can I use Mediqaro in English?
Yes. The entire application interface is available in English and Hebrew, and you can switch between them at any time from the button in the top bar. Your choice is remembered on that device.
The invoices and receipts you issue are always produced in Hebrew. These are Israeli tax documents governed by the Israeli bookkeeping regulations, so their language is deliberately not tied to your interface preference.
How do I issue a tax invoice for a private clinic?
Choose the document type, fill in the client details and the line items, and the system calculates VAT and assigns the next sequential number automatically. You can work per line item with a quantity and unit price, or from a VAT-inclusive total that is broken down backwards.
You get a preview before issuing, can add a hand-drawn digital signature, then print or save as PDF. Once issued the document is locked, and corrections are made with a credit note - as required.
What is the difference between an authorised and an exempt dealer?
An authorised dealer (עוסק מורשה) charges VAT and issues a tax invoice showing VAT separately. An exempt dealer (עוסק פטור) does not charge VAT and issues an invoice or receipt without it. You set your business type once in settings, and Mediqaro adjusts which documents you can issue and whether VAT is added.
Mediqaro is a practical tool, not a substitute for advice from an accountant or tax adviser. Responsibility for the correctness of your documents and for meeting Israel Tax Authority requirements rests with you.
How much does Mediqaro cost?
The appointment diary is free forever, with no time limit and no credit card. The Professional plan, which adds invoicing, collection tracking and the financial dashboard, is ₪29 per month or ₪299 per year. Prices include VAT.
New accounts get 14 days of the full Professional plan. The trial requires no payment method and does not end in an automatic charge.
What happens to my invoices if I stop the subscription?
Nothing is deleted. The account moves to the Free plan, the diary keeps working as usual, and every document you issued stays available to view, print, download as PDF and export as a full backup - with no time limit and no charge. That is deliberate: invoices are records a business is required to retain and produce. What stops is issuing new documents and editing existing ones.
Where is my data stored, and is it secure?
Data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore on servers located in the Israel region, tied to your account. Access is restricted by server-side security rules so each user can read and write only their own records. Traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, and passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are not accessible to the operator.
Card details never pass through the system at all - payments are processed by PayPal.
Do I need to install software or run a server?
No. Mediqaro runs in the browser with no installation and no server. You can add it to your home screen on mobile or your desktop and use it like a regular app. It also keeps working without an internet connection and syncs as soon as the connection returns.
